Happy Easter dear family and friends!The star magnolia is one of my favorite spring additions to our property. Its bloom is like no other with the multiple long petals and the color is white with a hint of blush pink. The stages are all really interesting and I wanted to just show you a couple. The bud not yet ready to bloom and the bloom not fully extended. These large flowers are about 4" wide and make a great splash of white this time of year. I like them so much that we now have six of them planted around here and there. They are all visible from the house and while everything else is starting to bud up, these are already blooming giving us the hope of a floral springtime. Take the time to appreciate what is around you and truly enjoy the beauty!
