As the sun was setting I couldn't help but notice the interesting shape of the light on these dinner plate hibiscus - amazing isn't it? What a great color study of red this would make. From the intense pink brights to the extreme grape darks, any artist would dream of this range in palette. I even like the dappled foliage in the background making the flowers stand out even more if that is really possible.

Study of Red
As the sun was setting I couldn't help but notice the interesting shape of the light on these dinner plate hibiscus - amazing isn't it? What a great color study of red this would make. From the intense pink brights to the extreme grape darks, any artist would dream of this range in palette. I even like the dappled foliage in the background making the flowers stand out even more if that is really possible.
