This is the latest Colored Pencil of the Month Club project. I decided to do a piece with various textures and am pleased with the results. I think it is a great learning project and one I hope all the members will try. Of course my favorite part is the twisted wire stem and then the cast iron ladybug. How could I resist that texture? I have several different bugs around the studio and this one just fit the still life perfectly. Don't you agree?

Summer Days
